Learn how to integration Network Tokens with PowerBoard
This document will guide you on how to correctly setup and use Network Tokens via PowerBoard.
Network tokens serve as payment credentials that can replace PANs for online transactions. PowerBoard partners with card networks such as Visa and Mastercard to convert a user's repository of PANs into network tokens. These tokens are kept up-to-date, even if the underlying card information changes. For example, if a customer loses their card, PowerBoard receives a notification from the network and updates the token directly, ensuring it continues to function without requiring the customer to update their payment details.
Network Tokenisation is not enabled on your PowerBoard Merchant Account by default. If you wish to register for Network tokens you can do so by reaching out to our Tech Care team who can assist you in registering for Network tokens with the required Schemes.
Registration times for network tokens vary between the Card Schemes and may take up to a total of 5 business days to complete.
Once Network Tokens has been enabled on your PowerBoard account, you can begin developing them into your Powerboard integration.
