View Transcript

Welcome to the PowerBoard Dashboard tutorials. Today we’ll provide an overview on how to manage the access of your existing users including Deactivation, Deleting, Editing A User’s Role, pausing Two Factor Authentication and Changing user passwords. To access the PowerBoard portal, you’ll need to log in using your credentials. To manage existing users, head over to the arrow next to the Merchant name. From the drop-down list select Company Users. To deactivate a user, head to the Users section, find the user you’re managing then select Actions and Deactivate user. Confirm the request in the pop-up window and you’ll receive a notification status when the link has been sent. The User status will be changed to Inactive. The User can be deactivated without the need to delete their profile. To reactivate the User, head back to Actions in the user’s row and select Activate User… then select OK, from the Confirmation window.

To pause 2 Factor Authentication, select Pause 2FA from the Actions drop-down. A notification appears confirming the 2FA has been paused successfully. The Users status remains Active. The next time the user attempts to log in they’ll be prompted to scan a new QR code and will receive a new 6-digit 2FA authenticator code. 2FA cannot be paused in the portal for First User Account created in PowerBoard. To pause the 2FA for this user, contact the PowerBoard Tech Care Team. To edit a user role head back to Actions in their row and select Edit Role ... a Role field will appear. From the User Role drop-down, select the new role. It’s important to select the appropriate role depending on the level of access and authority you wish users to have. We’ll change the access of this user from SM Admin to SM Manager. Click Accept and you’ll notice the role has been updated. To delete a user, return to Actions in their row and select Delete User. Select OK to confirm the change and remove their access ... the user will no longer appear under your list of active users and can no longer access your PowerBoard portal.
