Welcome to the PowerBoard Dashboard tutorials. In this video we’ll give you an overview of the Dashboard page and how to filter the graphs to provide high-level insights into transactions. To access the PowerBoard portal, you’ll need to log in using your credentials. On the left-hand side, you’ll see a number of navigation tabs.

The Dashboard tab will take you to your transactions overview. From the Services tab you’ll be able to view, edit and add payment options for your eCommerce website, including cards, digital wallets or Alternative Payment Methods. From the Checkout tab you can create a customised Checkout widget to reflect your website theme. From the Rules tab, you can determine the payment flow and the amounts to accept or decline. This function allows you to determine which rules to apply to the different transactions made on your website and how they’re processed. The Vault tab is where payment details will be tokenized and where the tokens will be stored.

From the Customers tab, you’ll be able to view customer information like names, phone numbers and address details. The Subscriptions tab is where you can set up recurring payments for your customers. You can add new subscriptions and also manage existing subscriptions. From the Charges tab, you can view payments, view charges status, reconcile, manage refunds and create and download reports. From the Notifications tab you can set up real time transaction notifications for yourself and your customer to trigger an alert or send receipts on all the activities on your account … like successful or failed transactions. These notifications can be sent via email and webhook. Let’s go into more detail in the Dashboard tab. From this tab you’ll see a few graphs. The first graph is titled Payment Activity. This graph can be filtered to display average transaction size, total income, and the number of transactions on a monthly view.

Select the filter you’d like to display, then hover over the data point to reveal the information. For example, this business started taking payments in January 2025. Their average transaction amount is $46.11. This totalled an income of $783.80 … which has come from 4 different transactions. Below the Payment Activity graph, you’ll find current data on the customer profiles you’ve created, the connected services, subscriptions and any sent notifications. This business has created 1 customer profile … they’ve elected to offer 4 different connected services … and have set up 3 subscription customers. Click View All under each data cell to see more payment details. This business has connected a service for card payments via the Mastercard payment gateways and has 2 different services for the alternative payment methods. Back at the Dashboard tab, scroll down the page to the Charges graph to see the status of daily transactions.

Filter to compare data by transaction status. In the top right corner of the graph, you can filter the data displayed by selecting the drop-down, entering the date range and the payment services, then click Apply Filter to create a graph. Under the Subscriptions graph, you’ll find the status on any subscriptions. This business has one active subscription and two failed subscriptions.
